Bobby Black, an
internationally acclaimed
vocalist, makes his way
around the world sharing his
talents and charm to
millions. From his humble,
small hometown of
Donalsonville, Georgia to
the mighty outback of
Australia and across 4
continents, Bobby Black
celebrates a lifetime of
passion and pride with his
one true love, music.

At the early age of three,
Bobby consumed himself with
music by singing solos at
his local church and
continued to fill his life
with every musical
opportunity he could find.
He taught himself how to
play the trombone and joined
the high school marching and
concert bands. He sang in
choirs, quartets and musical
productions all through his
teenage years, but always
stayed close to his
Christian roots. “I know my
talents are God given gifts,
he says, and my Faith and
deeply rooted Southern
Gospel principles have
always been the foundation
for my personal and
professional choices.”
The Zion Brothers, a
national touring Southern
Gospel Quartet, hired Bobby
to be their lead soloist and
for 5 years, his powerful
range and natural ability to
hear harmonies made the
perfect match for this
successful group. “My time
with The Zion Brothers
really taught me how to find
the strength in my voice and
pushed my vocal range,” says
Mr. Black, “but my fondest
memories are the special
bonds we created being on
the road together.”
It wasn’t until he completed
his study of music at Troy
State University that Bobby
realized his highest
aspirations could only be
achieved by a solo career.
After Troy State, Bobby
followed this dream and sang
solo performances at
Paramount’s King’s Island
Theme Park and the world
renowned, Opryland USA Theme
Park. However, he knew his
full potential would not be
reached unless someone gave
him the chance to sing in a
world-class production. Tim Molyneux and Molyneux Musick,
LLC gave Bobby that chance.
In April 2000, Bobby was
hired to be the lead pop
soloist for the grand
theatrical productions
onboard the Celebrity
Cruises, GTS Millennium. The
Millennium was the first
ship to brag of such a
state-of-the-art theatrical
facility; 1000 seat
auditorium with three tiered
seating, Broadway scale fly
space, multiple hydraulic
lift stages and a cast of
some of the world’s greatest
singers and dancers
showcased Bobby Black as a
star.
“Tim saw the potential in me
and was willing to work with
me to bring out my fullest
potential. He pushed me
beyond my comfort zones and
forced me to bring the
message to the audience like
never before.” Mr. Black was
so successful at the
production shows, that the
cruise line asked him to
perform his own one man
show. Standing ovations
every night and extremely
high passenger ratings, now
three years later, his one
man show can be seen all
over the world on a variety
of ships including Celebrity
Cruises and Holland America.
Bobby chose Las Vegas to
be his home base in
2002. Here he develops
his business deals and
relationships and is
able to call it home
even though he is booked
more than 240 dates a
year. “Ultimately I want
to settle down and
perform every night at
the Bobby Black theater
right here in Vegas. I
know that might take a
few years to achieve,
but I am certainly
having fun along the
way. Until then I will
continue to cherish my
friends all over the
world and thank God for
his wonderful gift of
music.”
